Bikram Yoga – why the Heat?

The room is intentionally hot – 105 F making it the perfect environment for Bikram yoga to work its magic! The heat helps you to do your postures optimally, allowing you to go deeper and safer, minimising the risk of injury.

Regular profuse sweating generated by the heat will flush toxins out of the body, promote relaxation and well-being, accelerate cardiovascular action and facilitate calorie burning (1,000 cals per class). It is common to lose centimetres of shape in a very short period of time!
